The topic is perfect for our July passport theme, North America, as it answers questions about the role of the atom bombs in keeping North America from further repercussions of WWII.  Did the use of atom bombs end WWII and did their use save lives?  This discussion explores traditional and revisionist theories.  It includes recently declassified information about Japanese intentions and actions.  This two part presentation is a frank and open discussion about one of the most important, interesting, and emotional events in history.
