Reiko Niiya has been concertmaster with the Southwest Florida Symphony for 37 years, and has served as concertmaster of five other orchestras, including the Wolf Trap Opera Orchestra.

She is one of the most prominent freelance violinists in the country, having played with the National Symphony, the Washington Opera Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, on Dancing with the Stars and has worked with popular entertainers such as Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Michael Jackson and Sarah Brightman, to name a few.

This six-piece band plus vocalist delivers a toe-tapping evening of Dixieland jazz. The program includes Lazy River, Tin Roof Blues, Snake Rag and The Basin Street Stomp.

Herb Bruce is a world-class trombonist and leader of the Herbicide Jazz Band. He has played at jazz festivals throughout the country, and with top artists, including Steve Lawrence & Eydie Gorme, Bob Hope, Wayne Newton, Nelson Riddle, Jimmy Dorsey, Liza Minelli, the Four Freshmen, the Four Tops, the Temptations, Amy Grant, Al Hirt, Burt Bacharach, Bernadette Peters, Woody Herman and Les Brown, to name a few. He had toured with Boots Randolph, the Nashville Brass, Spiritual to the Bone and the premiere Salvation Army Brass Bands. He can be heard on recordings by the Back Street Boys, Hank Williams, Jr. and the Nashville Brass.

An evening of George Gershwin and Richard Rodgers classics, including Surry with the fringe on Top, The Lady is a Tramp, I Got Rhythm and Strike up the Band.

Lew Del Gatto’s first professional gig was with Skitch Henderson at the Waldorf Astoria at age 19. He has played with the Radio City music Hall Orchestra, Doc Severenson’s band, Buddy Rich, did three tours with Frank Sinatra, and played in the Saturday Night Live Band for over 20 years. He has recorded with artists including Tony Bennett, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, John Lennon, Bette Midler, Quincy Jones, Henri Mancini, Harry Connick, Jr., Billy Joel, Tina Turner and Carly Simon. Lew played all the bari sax solos for the original Blues Brothers film. Since 2009 he has been the artistic director of the Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra.

Dan Miller spent eleven years as a member of the Harry Connick, Jr. Orchestra. He has toured and recorded with Wynton Marsalis, Maynard Ferguson, Tom Jones and Woody Herman. He has also performed with The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, The Lionel Hampton Orchestra, The Duke Ellington Orchestra and Branford Marsalis Band, Jon Hendricks, George Coleman, Charles McPherson, Benny Golson, Jimmy Heath, Tom Harrell, David “Fathead” Newman, Ira Sullivan, Bobby Shew and Jack McDuff. He’s a member of the Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra and music director of the Naples Philharmonic Youth Jazz Orchestra.

The Bay King Band is a seven-piece band with two vocalists that will take you on a journey through three decades of pop, rock and soul, including hits by Sam and Dave, Aretha, Elvis, Earth, Wind & Fire and more. The Bay Kings Band is one of south Florida’s top bands. Comprised of musicians who have played with Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias, Paul Anka, Ricky Martin and Shakira, among others, they are known for their high-energy performances.
