JAZZ ENSEMBLE FEATURING VOCALIST KATE KORTUM

The FGCU Jazz Ensemble joins forces with award-winning, critically acclaimed vocalist Kate Kortum at the Tribby Arts Center. A Juilliard graduate and winner of the 2025 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, Kortum has become a familiar face on the most iconic stages in jazz including Birdland, Blue Note, Mezzrow, Dizzy’s Club, SXSW Festival, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Expect swinging standards, lush ballads, and a few surprises—a concert where students and a world-class artist meet right at the heart of the tradition.
