In this presentation\, FGCU’s  Dr. Tom Cimarusti explores Porter’s remarkable life\, tracing his rise to prominence\, examining his unique musical style\, and discussing the tragic accident that ultimately curtailed his career. The program will also feature select video performances\, including the legendary Ethel Merman performing the beloved Porter classic “Anything Goes.”
