Hurricane Season: Be Post-Storm Prepared
After attending Shell Point’s Hurricane Seminar and reviewing the 2023 Hurricane Preparation Guide, you know that part of being prepared for hurricane season is having supplies on hand for the post-storm period when you return to your residence after an evacuation.
Shell Point is offering an easy way to order food and personal care items. Charges will be applied to your resident account. There are multiple ways to place an order:

- Print and complete the order form and send to Karen Isola via intercampus mail
- Complete an order form on ShellPoint.net/foodpersonalsupplies
Orders must be placed by Monday, August 7. Kits will be available for pick-up in the Social Center on Friday, August 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

POST-HURRICANE PERSONAL CARE: One-Person Kit: $35
Items offered based on product availability. Substitutions may be made for equal/better product.
Hardware Supplies
Gavin’s Ace Hardware offers a variety of supplies for hurricane preparedness, including batteries of all sizes; lanterns; flashlights; phone charger power banks; battery-operated fans; weather radios, etc. A full list of items and pricing is available here from Gavin’s Ace Hardware.
To select items, call Jerry McQueeney, Supply Specialist, at (239) 466-7777, extension 217. He will accept a credit card payment over the phone. Once your order is complete, it will be delivered to your Concierge Desk.
