Enabling residents to live independently in their own homes longer, Home Care enhances the safety and quality of life of Shell Point residents who wish to receive companionship or support. Home Care also includes support for caregivers, allowing them free time for activities such as errands, rest and travel.
As part of the Home Care offering at Shell Point, an RN is available to provide professional care management services such as:
1Organizing a resident’s healthcare needs, ensuring they make and attend appointments
2 Helping an individual stay on track with medications and any recommended follow-up care plan
3 Accompanying residents to doctor appointments
4 Serving as a liaison to family members
Shell Point Home Care services are private pay. However, the Welcome Home Program provides two to four hours of complimentary Home Care services, allowing Shell Point residents to experience the benefits of these services free of charge.
